Bowling scrims are a length of mesh used to protect turf from the bowler’s feet.
These are installed at the releasing end of the bowling rink.
The bowling scrims are made from PVC coated fiberglass mesh.
Tabs are sewn on the side every 2 meters for pegging to the turf.
Bowling scrims are 1.83m wide and usually 4m or 6m in length depending on the size of the green.
Simply insert a peg through each of the tabs to hold in place.
When finished using the scrim, pull out the pegs and roll it up.
Do not fold as this will damage the mesh.
